I don't know how "YOu're Welcome" will hit him, but I'm looking forward to "Smile Time." That song still pops up in my head occasionally. His reaction to "short bus bastards" should be amusing.

Buffy and Angel 1: BUFFYNANGLE4EVA!!!!!1!
Is it better the second time around? Or the third? Or tenth? This is the place to come when you have a burning desire to talk about an old episode that was just re-run.

Cordelia? Coma? Hard.
Somebody needs to make Mark watch the original pilot for Dollhouse so he can see exactly what Fox did to the show. And I'm sure the "extra" episode will just confuse the hell out of him.
But today's video of him watching Dollhouse and getting to the Alpha reveal in "Briar Rose" was the best.
Well, YEAH. No one expects Steve the Pirate to be a bad guy.
I think maybe I didn't finish watching the whole run of Dollhouse, because I'm reading some of Mark's posts and not remembering a goddamn thing.
Or maybe you've been mind wiped. Equally plausible.
As I pointed out in an earlier post, another interesting thing about watching Angel S5 and Dollhouse concurrently is that they are both shows about mindwiped people working for an evil corporation and trying to change it from the inside.
And they have the same damn set.

Mark's coming up to a good run on Angel, with "You're Welcome" tomorrow. That should be a balm for his Cordy loving heart. Then "Smile Time" and "Hole in the World" soon after.
Even ignoring Why We Fight*, calling that a good run seems a bit... generous? It's more like this: [link]

Oh thanks for the extra salt in the wound with the A's fail in the gif.
I know some people don't like the fawning over Fred like she's the Maryiest of Sue's in "Hole in the World" but I liked her character, thought her death was moving and I really liked what AA did with Illyria so that's definitely a plus for me.
"Smile Time" - the funniest episode of Angel. So that's good.
"You're Welcome" - very sweet affectionate good-bye to a character I'd watched since "Welcome to the Hellmouth" and helped somewhat to repair the damage done to her character in S4 of Angel.
And yes, I did ignore "Why We Fight."
Also! "Origin" is coming up and I really liked reconstituted Connor.
