What you did to me was unbelievable, Connor. But then I got stuck in a hell dimension by my girlfriend one time for a hundred years, so three months under the ocean actually gave me perspective. Kind of a M.C. Escher perspective, but I did get time to think.

Angel ,'Conviction (1)'

Buffy and Angel 1: BUFFYNANGLE4EVA!!!!!1!

Is it better the second time around? Or the third? Or tenth? This is the place to come when you have a burning desire to talk about an old episode that was just re-run.

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

Im not sure how Número Cinco can be considered racist. Just because the characters were Latino?

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

People unfamiliar with Mexican pop culture and Lucha Libre thought that the episode might be mocking it.

Of course, Lucha as a genre is just as silly as superheroes in tights and the episode was clearly an affectionate tribute.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

I can see if you didn't know how actually silly it is, portraying it that way might make you ooky. So ask the question I guess, but you're on shaky grounds.

To understand what happened at the diner, we shall use Mr. Papaya! This is upsetting because he's the friendliest of fruits.

I've said it before and I'll say it again: "Numero Cinco" is the greatest hour of television ever made. I love that episode more than just about anything.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Mark's coming up to a good run on Angel, with "You're Welcome" tomorrow. That should be a balm for his Cordy loving heart. Then "Smile Time" and "Hole in the World" soon after.

But today's video of him watching Dollhouse and getting to the Alpha reveal in "Briar Rose" was the best.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

He's watching Dollhouse before he's finished with Angel? I know they don't share a universe, but somehow that seems wrong to me.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

It's actually going to be kind of awesome because he'll get the Amy Acker How Do You Act experience with Illyria and Whiskey.

because he'll get the Amy Acker How Do You Act experience with Illyria and Whiskey.

And Illyria being Fred, and Whiskey being Dr. Saunders.

brillig

I don't know how "YOu're Welcome" will hit him, but I'm looking forward to "Smile Time." That song still pops up in my head occasionally. His reaction to "short bus bastards" should be amusing.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I don't know how "YOu're Welcome" will hit him

Cordelia? Coma? Hard.
