It's why I've been worried about this stretch
When you say worried, what are you worried about?
Is it better the second time around? Or the third? Or tenth? This is the place to come when you have a burning desire to talk about an old episode that was just re-run.

Mark's reaction and my psychological ability to read his write-up. The last 3.5 episodes are pretty intense, from the attempted rape to Tara's death to Big Bad Willow. Mark reacts to intensity with intensity. Especially when it involves characters that he loves. Like Tara and Willow.
I was a fan of Tara and her development from the shy girl of S4 to the moral center in S6. I'm nowhere near as intense as Mark, and I reacted when Tara died.
Now that I see it in black and white, I think I may be too invested in Mark's write-ups.

That's what I was wondering. The phrasing seemed weird, but if you are, that's precisely the phrasing that describes it. I guess when he pours so much emotion into it, the people that like that are matching with more emotion too.
It's pretty much why I run screaming from the room.
I tend to think "Poor wee darlings, everything feels so big at that age." Then I feel old and cynical and go back to reading about the jewelry of the royal family.
What age? How old is he?
He turns 29 in October.
It may be a reaction to apparent age, he had a very isolated upbringing.
ie: his innocence level seems higher than most.
Oh, okay.
Was he raised in the wild by Muppets? Because that's the impression I'm getting from how intensely *everything* must be reacted to.
