It will be interesting to see how he responds to Jonathan and Andrew next season.
Buffy and Angel 1: BUFFYNANGLE4EVA!!!!!1!
Is it better the second time around? Or the third? Or tenth? This is the place to come when you have a burning desire to talk about an old episode that was just re-run.
Retta from Parks & Rec just started watching and live-tweeting Buffy, too. Good times!
P-Cow, you should probably alert Mark that aligning himself with the Kitten Board (he got excited when he discovered their Seeing Red FAQ) is a quick trip to crazyland.
Hec, he's halfway there already, don't you think? But they seem mean and crazy, not sweet, Brian Wilson crazy.
I remember our discussions of "Seeing Red" back on WX. And our discussions of how other fans/boards were reacting. It's an episode that invites strong reactions, especially for people that identify with characters.
It's why I've been worried about this stretch. More than anything else, Mark in his discussions of Buffy and Angel (I haven't read much else of his work) identifies with characters and reacts strongly.

I saw that this morning. I am unreasonably excited for this.

When you say worried, what are you worried about?

Mark's reaction and my psychological ability to read his write-up. The last 3.5 episodes are pretty intense, from the attempted rape to Tara's death to Big Bad Willow. Mark reacts to intensity with intensity. Especially when it involves characters that he loves. Like Tara and Willow.
I was a fan of Tara and her development from the shy girl of S4 to the moral center in S6. I'm nowhere near as intense as Mark, and I reacted when Tara died.
Now that I see it in black and white, I think I may be too invested in Mark's write-ups.
