Mal: Ready? Zoe: Always.

'Serenity'

Buffy and Angel 1: BUFFYNANGLE4EVA!!!!!1!

Is it better the second time around? Or the third? Or tenth? This is the place to come when you have a burning desire to talk about an old episode that was just re-run.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

Also season four of Angel, given how much he loves Cordelia.

I just discovered a funny casting coincidence. The same actress played Lysette, the car-obsessed girl Xander picks up in "The Zeppo," and Marelda, Cordelia's serving wench in "There's No Place in Plrtz Glrb."

We've decided that Lysette ended up in L.A. and Fred's professor sent her to Pylea.

I loved Cordelia and Season 4 was a welcome relief from Season 3. Hey, she may have been the unwitting host for a larval god that was turning her evil, but at least she had some snark and a working brain cell or two.

There are a lot of season six fans in the Mark Watches comments. This should be interesting. I did like it better on a rewatch.

As for Mark's predictions...

There will be an episode devoted to Xander and Anya’s glorious wedding!

Oh dear.

One of the newbies did have an eerily accurate set of predictions:

- Buffy will be brought back but she’ll have trouble adjusting to life again
- Willow’s use of magic will spiral out of control and shit will get real.
- Her reliance on magic will cause a rift in her relationship with Tara. They will break up or something. They’re too happy; Whedon has to ruin it somehow.
- Xander and Anya will break up right before the wedding for maximum Whedon-y pain.
- Dawn will have some heavy shit to deal with. All her family members have left her so I feel like she’ll be more withdrawn this season.
- I'd love to see Spike take care of Dawn because the thought of Spike cooking makes me lol, but I'm not sure how that would work
- Will there be ANOTHER SLAYER? :D :D :D Faith’s in jail, shouldn’t then send a replacement?
- lol I forgot about Rat Amy until I saw my S5 predictions. She will be de-ratted for real!

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I'm cynical enough to best case assume contamination, IF NOT OUTRIGHT DECEPTION AND CHEATING.

Always Anti-fascist!

I can't believe anyone found it painful for Xander and Anya to break up...by the time it happened, I was so *heartily* sick of "Anya blurts about sex...because she doesn't know it's tacky, isn't that HILARIOUS...oh, those wacky demons!" I would have made Emma Caulfield play her whole role with demonic laryngitis if it were in my power to do it. But then they would have just taught her dirty sign language anyway, because somebody was so in love with that one bit.

As I recall, they sort of did in "Hush."
