Death is your art. You make it with your hands day after day. That final gasp, that look of peace. And part of you is desperate to know: What's it like? Where does it lead you? And now you see, that's the secret. Not the punch you didn't throw or the kicks you didn't land. She really wanted it. Every Slayer has a death wish. Even you.

Buffy and Angel 1: BUFFYNANGLE4EVA!!!!!1!

Is it better the second time around? Or the third? Or tenth? This is the place to come when you have a burning desire to talk about an old episode that was just re-run.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I didn't like some of what they did with Fred (see how I make it not actually Fred? Coping technique ahoy), but her introduction was fucking awesome. And I have to remind myself she only said the "Handsome man!" thing once. We just had the pleasure of reliving it weekly.

"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

I couldn't tell you what the problem with them is, though.

They induced nausea in sensitive individuals. Fred and Gunn was my favorite pair, though.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

I have to say that I had a higher tolerance for Fred and the romantic triangle after the bullshit Angel/Cordelia stuff.

That was so awful that I had to look upon previous awfulness with appropriate context.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

And even Angel/Cordelia was out-awfulled by Cordelia/Connor

That's the pain / That cuts a straight line down through the heart / We call it love

I liked Pylea. At least, I remember it fondly, mostly for the humor.

I do believe in killing the messenger, you know why? Because it sends a message. ~ Damon Salvatore

i'm honestly not sure which pairing(or attempted pairing) i hated more. Cordy/Angel or Cordy/Connor. probably the latter because we had to sit through more of it. mostly i just hated everything to do with Connor.

Oh yeah. I HATED Cordy/Angel, and apparently I hated Cordy/Connor so much that I managed to completely erase any memory of it from my mind. I did like Fred/Gunn quite a bit, though the pancake kisses scene was not my favorite.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

you know, I do look forward to Mark watching those bad spell of episodes.

It will be interesting. I'm in a minority over there for loving season four. I also liked Connor. But I can definitely see reasons for not liking what happened with Cordelia, both on-screen and the behind-the-scenes shenanigans, and Mark loves Cordelia a LOT. So.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

I can't wait for the first "what the fuck" from him that comes from a place of mild disapproval.

because it will come.
