Pretty cool except for the part where I was really terrified and now my knees are all dizzy.

Willow ,'Never Leave Me'

Buffy and Angel 1: BUFFYNANGLE4EVA!!!!!1!

Is it better the second time around? Or the third? Or tenth? This is the place to come when you have a burning desire to talk about an old episode that was just re-run.

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

Heh. Oh, I remember the sobbing mess I was at the end of The Gift...

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

The Gift forced me to write long fanfic (the trilogy is still not complete) just to get the image of the Scoobies reacting to the dive out of my head.

As memories of Mark Hellish surface....

If I'm remembering correctly, Mark and I might have been the only two people who wanted Faith dead, yes?

All is well that ends in pizza.

Incidentally, Mark Watches The Body is up.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

It's a really good review, too. And the comments are also worth reading, if you like personal stories about death.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

P-C,

well thanks for that warning. I will not go that way.

Morgana,

I wanted Faith off the show, but I'm not sure I was as strong as wishing for death. I get it though.

Always Anti-fascist!

As much as I too love Joyce(and probably won't watch The Body again cause Joyce even looks like my mom) there is something about the way Mark writes that makes me want to say "She's a *character*, Mark."

I think for me it was a response to a lot of "ooh, she's so hot" comments as opposed to actual narrative discussion. I got tired of the heaving bosoms and lip gloss, as well as being massively tired of the personality. (And no, I didn't find it hot or arousing when she tortured Wesley.) However, I know a lot of people really did enjoy watching her.

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

Holy crap, I didn't either. I found it horrible and disturbing.

Actually, there were people who thought it hot. I found Angel's efforts to help her laudable, but by that point I was so tired of Faith, and she had done so much damage to pretty much every one of the Scoobies, that I was done with her. By the time she had moved on to torture, yeah, I was ready for her to go.
