TNT is showing Angel in the mornings, and they're just about halfway through S1. It's lovely. (The evening airings, OTOH, are in the middle of the beginning of S5, which means the only one I haven't deleted as soon as it aired was The Cautionary Tale of Numero Cinco. But it's nice having them offset like that because it means I'll almost always have something good to watch before I go to work. Nevermind that I could just as easily pop in a DVD -- there's something about it being on TV that's special.)
Buffy and Angel 1: BUFFYNANGLE4EVA!!!!!1!
Is it better the second time around? Or the third? Or tenth? This is the place to come when you have a burning desire to talk about an old episode that was just re-run.
When lori and I went to see the Paley screening of Veronica Mars, they softened us up with a bit from the Welcome To The Hellmouth.
God, I felt irrationally possessive and nostalgic. My baby show! With chibiBuffy and the Scoobs! Jesse's not dead! Hell, neither is Cordy!
::sniff::

Xander still had both eyes, and hadn't begun dating demons, and Willow hadn't yet tried to end the world.
And Buffy hadn't even died *once* yet!
::sniffle::
And Joyce was still alive, and only had one daughter, and Giles was still wearing tweed.

And Principal Flutie was still uneaten.
And Darla was still young.....
Those were the days, my friends,
Our show would never end
We thought it'd last, forever and a day.
They'd live the lives they'd choose
They'd fight and never lose
We would have watched, forever and a day.
Oh that was so great! It made me want to watch all of Buffy all over again, it did.
Didn't realize other Buffistas would be there, or I might have tried to find you guys. Oh well. Still, it made my sister spend the last 24 hours watching each and every one of the other 15 episodes of VM, so THAT was a good effect.
I finally ordered S5 of Angel and S7 of Buffy. Aside from the obvious reasons I've been not ordering them, I was really putting it off because it's so FINAL. They'll be sitting there on the shelf, and instead of having a feeling of completing a collection I'll be thinking "I can never watch these, because then the shows will end AGAIN forever."
Although occasionally I'll be thinking "I can never watch these because that way I can imagine better episodes to end these shows with."
(and hey, number!)

What was this?
