Oh that was so great! It made me want to watch all of Buffy all over again, it did.
Didn't realize other Buffistas would be there, or I might have tried to find you guys. Oh well. Still, it made my sister spend the last 24 hours watching each and every one of the other 15 episodes of VM, so THAT was a good effect.
I finally ordered S5 of Angel and S7 of Buffy. Aside from the obvious reasons I've been not ordering them, I was really putting it off because it's so FINAL. They'll be sitting there on the shelf, and instead of having a feeling of completing a collection I'll be thinking "I can never watch these, because then the shows will end AGAIN forever."
Although occasionally I'll be thinking "I can never watch these because that way I can imagine better episodes to end these shows with."
(and hey, number!)
The 2005 William S. Paley Television Festival, Jon. Next year I think I'm going to take it more seriously and plan ahead for tickets -- these were given me by a friend.
Who's bright idea was it to show
The Wish
and
Amends
this morning when I'm
trying
to turn over a new leaf and be on time for work?
That would have me late for work too, brenda (The Wish is my favourite), so while that doesn't help you with the leaf-turning, at least you have company in the truancy corner.
My problem is not that watching in the morning makes me late, it's watching the episodes on DVD at night until 1am that causes me to go to bed late, wake up late because I'm tired and have to rush to get ready. (It's really hard to turn off the player sometimes.)
Nevermind that I could just as easily pop in a DVD -- there's something about it being on TV that's special.)
plus, when it's on TV you can run to the bathroom to brush your teeth and do your makeup and stuff.
And on TV it's not so easy to give in to "Oh, I have time for just one more."
Perhaps you didn't see my post above.
Ah, well. I squeed at Vamp!Willow and Vamp!Xander, got choked up at Puppy!Angel finally seeing Buffy, cried at the snow, jumped in the shower, and was
almost
on time. I'ma count that as a win.
