Poor, Mark. He's going to go all Kitten board after "Seeing Red."
Buffy and Angel 1: BUFFYNANGLE4EVA!!!!!1!
Is it better the second time around? Or the third? Or tenth? This is the place to come when you have a burning desire to talk about an old episode that was just re-run.
Actually, Restless reminded me of David Lynch, with the red curtains, and that is totally why I stopped, watched Restless, and became a Buffy fan and Buffista. (I know I have told this story 100 times, but it was the red curtains which drew me in.)
It's definitely Lynchian, though Joss claims he didn't choose the red curtains with Lynch in mind. (They had turned up earlier in The Puppet Show, right? So they already had them.)
Awwww, he's so in love with "New Moon Rising."
Though now I want to run over to the recommend-stuff-to-him thread and pimp the hell out of "My So-Called Life." No metaphors, just pure undiluted gay teen struggling with his awful family and with the terrified certainty that he belongs "nowhere, with no one," and his astonishment that all that hatred might have been a lie and that he might, in fact, belong.
Mark started refering to Wolfram & Hart as Wolfram & Heart today for some reason. Which is weird because he spelled it right in the past.
(Olbermann Voice) Look, everybody, Mark made a funny.(/Olbermann voice) I can't say I get the joke, though. Points for effort?
Was it a joke? If it was I don't get it either.
I think it was just a typo.
I think it was just a typo.
I was thinking that, but it was done more than once in the review, so maybe auto correct?
Yeah. But nearly everyone gets Wolfram & Hart wrong, so I wouldn't think much of it.
Also, things I never realized until I started following Mark Watches: Dealing With Your Ex is a major theme of Buffy Season 4; Angel Season 1. Huh.
