I walk. I talk. I shop. I sneeze. I'm gonna be a fireman when the floods roll back. There's trees in the desert since you moved out, and I don't sleep on a bed of bones.
Possibly my favourite Buffy quote EVER.
Is it better the second time around? Or the third? Or tenth? This is the place to come when you have a burning desire to talk about an old episode that was just re-run.

You forgot the end!
Now give me back my friends
So Mark just posted "Where the Wild Things Are" which he didn't love (justifiably - it's one of my least favorite too), but this is priceless (especially given a couple of episodes coming up):
WHY HASN’T GILES SANG BEFORE? OH MY GOD HIS VOICE IS SO DREAMY.

As always, Mark is not prepared. Can't wait until he gets to Giles singing in "Restless." Never mind "Once More With Feeling."
WHY HASN’T GILES SANG BEFORE?
I just want to shake him and make him repeat, "SING, SANG, has SUNG." Argh.
Well, I've seen "Restless" and I feel like I accidentally slipped and fell into David Lynch's laundry basket. Help.
Ha! As if David Lynch could write something that funny.

Sing it, sister! I've been seeing a real uptick in the number of times people mess up those tenses lately. See also "drink, drank, drunk," "swim, swam, swum," etc. I thought I was the only one who noticed! t /copyeditor nerd
Poor, Mark. He's going to go all Kitten board after "Seeing Red."
Actually, Restless reminded me of David Lynch, with the red curtains, and that is totally why I stopped, watched Restless, and became a Buffy fan and Buffista. (I know I have told this story 100 times, but it was the red curtains which drew me in.)
