I'm really curious how Mark is going to react to Dru. And how the board is going to handle references to her. I mean, she is obviously not right mentally. But we're not allowed to call her crazy or any other term that means mentally ill?
And is anyone else doing an actual rewatch of the show? I watch the episode the night before, then read his review, then watch the next episode. That way the episode is fresh in my mind when I read his review.
But we're not allowed to call her crazy or any other term that means mentally ill?
I'm not sure what the DSM for vampires looks like: "Driven Mad by Angelus, see Indices 4c-e, 5a, 12c-f."
Yeah, one of the mods suggested "strange" or "wacky" until Mark decides what word is best to use. Not looking forward to more wank in the comments.
Oh that wacky Drusilla! (That doesn't quit sum her up properly!)
I've been rewatching a lot since Mark started his reviews. I've watched all of S1, and I'm up to "Ted" on S2, but I skipped ahead and watched "Becoming, Part 1 & 2" and then I skipped ahead some more and watched a bunch of S3, because I like S3 so much.
But we're not allowed to call her crazy or any other term that means mentally ill?
Does he just not talk about mental illness in the fiction he discusses, or is it just the commenters that aren't allowed to talk about mental illness?

They're allowed to talk about mental illness, they just can't use the word "crazy" - which is ableist, I guess.
It's impossible to discuss Drusilla without mentioning that she's a lunatic!
I'm rewatching "Ted" right now, and Willow just looked at a chocolate chip cookie under a high school microscope and determined that it was laced with a tranquilizer. She's blinding me with science!

So you can say Drusilla is mentally ill?
