Can't drink, smoke, diddle my willy. Doesn't leave much to do other than watch you blokes stumble around playing Agatha Christie.

Spike ,'The Cautionary Tale of Numero Cinco'

Buffy and Angel 1: BUFFYNANGLE4EVA!!!!!1!

Is it better the second time around? Or the third? Or tenth? This is the place to come when you have a burning desire to talk about an old episode that was just re-run.

oh joy! Oh Rapture ! I have a brain!

Mark likes Prophecy girl - but I've watched it a billion times -- and I'm always on my feet with my arms in the air at the power walk .

and all i needed him to see is how fucked up that episode is -- Because it is

and I bet he starts saying trust in Joss soon. because all though he doesn't love Xander -- he is beginning to see that he can trust Joss to do something ...

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

Mark Reads:

So is it safe to say that the Anointed One will comprise the season two mythology arc? I’m okay with that. Creepy kids rule.

Boy is he in for a surprise. Several, actually.

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

Jilli, you are not allowed to even think about watching The Body until 2013. Midyear.

Ann, that's a ferret.

Boy is he in for a surprise. Several, actually.

I'm already placing bets with myself for what will freak him out most. Oddly, the one I keep coming back to is when Joyce hits Spike in "School Hard." He's going to love it.

I just have to quote this from Mark:

If there comes a point in your life where Cordelia Chase comes to you and tells you that you need to stop being rude, you’ve probably gone to far.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

You guys know Mark is doing a tour, right? He'll be in Boston on February 24. Looks like he's trying to set up an event at a library.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Huh.

Buffy S9 (comics) is set in San Francisco. (great cover)

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

I spent my entire evening tonight reading all of the Mark Watches Buffy entries that have been posted so far. I have never read any of the Mark posts before, but I absolutely loved them. I'm sort of jealous because I watched Buffy all sorts of out of order except for season 6 and 7, so I never really got the same watching experience of not knowing what was going to happen next in the first few season. I don't agree with everything he says, but I totally adore his posts and love reading his predictions. Some of them are so spot on.

Go back and read Mark Reads Harry Potter, SJ. You'll love that too.

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

I love Mark Reads The Hunger Games trilogy and Pullman's His Dark Materials.

Hec, I'm going to go back and read everything that he has posted about that I have either read or watched, but not tonight. Because tonight I have already proven that I cannot start reading his posts without finishing all of them, and it's bedtime.
