I'm feeling the urge to get an episode ahead of mark and guess what he is going to say....
Buffy and Angel 1: BUFFYNANGLE4EVA!!!!!1!
Is it better the second time around? Or the third? Or tenth? This is the place to come when you have a burning desire to talk about an old episode that was just re-run.
I'm all caught up with Mark Watches (for the moment, anyway) and now I'm swimming in anxiety for his future mental state on the day he gets to The Body. He already has such a please-be-my-fictional-mommy crush on Joyce; by the time we get through Band Candy and her coming to terms with Buffy's Slayerness and giving Spike hot cocoa with marshmallows and surviving cancer, he's going to come completely unglued at the end of I Was Made To Love You, and then The Body is going to pull him to pieces and scatter them to the wind.
Seriously. Someone like P-C or any other localista who knows him is going to have to contrive a way to sit in with him on those two episodes, because no matter how much he thinks he's prepared for how not prepared he is, he is not prepared for that gutpunch.
No lie. I cried so hard during those 2 eps. Still do.
He survived The Book Thief. I think he'll be OK.
He survived the fucking Hunger Games, too. Mark is strong.
I can't watch "The Body" again, cause, if you squint, I think my mother looks like Joyce's blue-collar sister(she doesn't think so) I think the second time I watched "The Body" she was getting radiation and so forth. I also haven't watched H:LOTS "Many-Splendored Thing" since I found out about Adrienne's murder...somehow her saying "if it happens to me, it's good to know you'll be out there." is more chilling than intended now(Although I think of that ep when I hear "Bad Girls," Mark should watch "Homicide", too. Adena Watson might shatter his brain--in a good way, one hopes, but still.
Prophecy Girl is tomorrow for Mark. This ought to be interesting.
I love how much he hates Snyder.

Right? I'd be bummed if he didn't love it and fist-punch the air a lot.
It's curious how much he's identifying with Cordelia. He's really going to hate Xander after she suffers rebar.
Ooooo. Probably the best hour of TV ever in my estimation.
