Buffy and Angel 1: BUFFYNANGLE4EVA!!!!!1!

Is it better the second time around? Or the third? Or tenth? This is the place to come when you have a burning desire to talk about an old episode that was just re-run.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Hand up: who's watching "Pangs" today?

I am so tempted to put it on. I subject my mom to it every Thanksgiving. It might be one of the only Buffy eps she's ever really watched. And she's seen it a LOT.

The artist formerly associated with cupcakes.

We must think of the children. The pubescent girl-children who will need a disturbing, thinly-veiled sexual metaphor to fixate on.

They can read Dracula and The Vampire Lestat like the rest of us did, dammit. Kids today and their "vampires", WHATEVER.

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

I watched it, also while cooking, yesterday morning.

Art Crawl!!!

Haven't watched Pangs yet - but I'm going to be sending some Buffy to my sister-in-law who teaches film at Columbia College in Chicago. (She needs to see Buffy - she loves teen drama and I think she'd get into Buffy.)

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

IO9 article on how we need more like Buffy, not simply more Buffy.

I had no idea it would happen, but this makes me tear right up, and this isn't helping the allergies at all.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Those two images can still give me chills.

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

That is one episode I have definitely seen less than the rest. It's so painfully realistic.
