Tara: 'Your One-Stop Spot to Shop for Lots of New-Age and Occult Items.' Catchy. Giles: Think so? Tara: Uh huh. In a... hard to say sorta way.

'Sleeper'

Buffy and Angel 1: BUFFYNANGLE4EVA!!!!!1!

Is it better the second time around? Or the third? Or tenth? This is the place to come when you have a burning desire to talk about an old episode that was just re-run.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Ugh. Didn't the Kuzuis already make a shit ton of money without doing anything on the Buffy franchise? Why they gotta go taking a shit all over my happy place?

There is no chance in the world they will do anything that will improve on the original.

Oh well. The Airbender movie came out and didn't ruin my love of the original animated Avatar: TLA.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

They really need to give it another decade or so before cracking open the remake vault. Particularly since Joss has been continuing the TV storyline in comics that I'm sure the vast majority of the active fan base is aware of.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Yeah. Make it for your own reasons, but to claim there's a fanbase out there that wants it? Well, they're not internet people. I don't know how they communicated this interest.

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

There is no chance in the world they will do anything that will improve on the original.

It might possibly improve on the movie, but not the show. No way.

Compassionately intolerant

This is impossible. Do these people honestly not know anything about the 'active fan base?'

Meaning no disrespect at all, but I can imagine a few members of that active fan base actually doing violence in protest of a non-Joss Buffy project.

It's true that nothing IS sacred, but I just don't see the economic upside of this choice.

Always Anti-fascist!

Maybe it's like Springtime for Hitler and they need the tax write-off. Or Billy Walsh is back on the monkey crack again and needed something to make him feel better about his Escobar biopic.(he should have written it like Buffy in a grain Silo.) I predict it's gone faster than New Coke.

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

What if it's really terrible and offensive? And we're Buffistas? And people get confused and think we're fans of the terrible offensive show?

Our collective reputation will be RUINED.

runs to and fro with hands in the air crying about sky falling

also pops corn and goes looking for fandom drama

Good times, good times.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

ita's press release makes me sad.

Always Anti-fascist!

It makes me think Entourage is a documentary. They read for a page and a half and Buffy is a name they recognize= very excited.

Now tagless for your comfort.

I think I threw up in my mouth a little bit.
