Was Torez someone here? Or some other site? I totally don't remember, and I was a total spoiler whore, so being spoiled meant nothing to me.
Buffy and Angel 1: BUFFYNANGLE4EVA!!!!!1!
Is it better the second time around? Or the third? Or tenth? This is the place to come when you have a burning desire to talk about an old episode that was just re-run.
Torez was someone on WX who accidentally spoiled us in Buffy or Natter or one of those places where we kept really tight reigns on what could be talked about. But it was just an accident, he didn't know. I feel so lame that I remember all of this, and not the spoiler. Also, I feel like it was sort of the genesis of "spoilers lite"
I was spoiler avoidant in those days. Today I don't seek out spoilers either, but I also can never remember which shows have aired at certain times and which shows are in which threads, so I keep spoiling myself all the time now. But I don't really care, evidently.
For whatever reason things like non-fiction that really have something to be spoiled about I don't care.
Nora wondering (in Feb of 02) if the Torez spoiler has happened - and Victor saying that it had not yet.
Hee! There I am!
Being bored at work... god, nothing ever changes!
I've skipped a trillion posts; has this been posted?
want: Buffy Ouija board from Dark Horse
I think if I was able to commune with the spirits of the dead using a Buffy the Vampire Slayer “Conversations With Dead People” Board it might actually rip a hole in the already thin veil between the worlds in an explosion of awesomeness. And though that could potentially unleash some rather nasty scenarios—hell dimensions, frighteningly similar but horribly wrong parallel universes, worlds with nothing but shrimp—I think that’s a risk I’m just going to have to take because it’s a freaking BTVS Ouija Board.
The Dark Horse site says:
“What is more conducive to speaking to the spirits than a game board based on the world of Buffy the Vampire Slayer? In the tradition of the Sunnydale Hellmouth, through which countless entities gained entry, let voices from the other side move the planchette along the board, choosing letters and numbers to answer your queries. Follow in the footsteps of Willow and hone your witchy skills, learning to communicate with the beyond!*
*Game board for entertainment purposes only.”

I TOLD YOU ALL IT WAS RILEY RETURNS.
Ahem.
Heh, Plei. My brain + board skimming = very wrong absorbtion of information. This has also affected my non-board thinking too.
We watched "Blood Money" last night, which I had remembered only for the cringe-inducing videotape of Wes dancing in his underwear that Angel played at the W&H fundraiser for Anne's shelter.
What I forgot was that that episode also had Angel in Lilah's backseat, telling her "The begging comes later," as well as one of my favorite lines EVER, "Let me wipe away the tears with my PLASTIC HAND."
Oh, Lindsey. You can take a nothing day and suddenly make it all worthwhile.

Alexis Denisof really did sacrifice himself on the altar of the foolish-- remember the dancing at the party? (And Angel imagining himself dancing?)
I guess Wes really earned the right to be all badass by S4. (Mmm... Scruffy Wes)
