Stop means no. And no means no. So . . . stop.

Buffy and Angel 1: BUFFYNANGLE4EVA!!!!!1!

Is it better the second time around? Or the third? Or tenth? This is the place to come when you have a burning desire to talk about an old episode that was just re-run.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

I just introduced my office mate to Dr Horrible. hee.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

Shir, there's no sexual innuendo, but the phrase "hand [someone] the keys to a shiny new" is usually followed by a CAR of some sort. Not a continent. Hence the joke, and one of my favorite lines. Even though I initially misinterpreted it, not as a sexual innuendo, but as an indication that Dr. Horrible would clean up Australia and make it shiny and new for Penny.

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

The way Penny says "The Thoroughbred of sin?" makes me think she knows (or is related to) Bad Horse somehow.

edited 'cause I misquoted

Laga, I assume Bad Horse is a big-name supervillain familiar to everyone. Although I was surprised that she recognized the name too.

"What would it take to get your daughter to stop tweeting about this?"

I loved reading Nilly's posts.

The way Penny says

Hmm...Now

I'm wondering about the words to the song she is singing in the laundromat. About being a sad girl who only knew trouble, about grief turning to pity. I think Laga is on to something.

I am the fly who dreams of the spider

I'm glad I'm not the only person who's been speculating on how the third act will play out! Because I was trying to imagine how Dr. Horrible could have his happy ending, and that would be that when Penny sees his evil ways, she's not turned off by it, and that would mean that she's a little bit evil, too. Which led me to this mysterious evil-whinnying dude who've we've yet to meet, and in a story this short, introducing another actor if we ever meet Bad Horse would be a waste of space. So I thought: Penny or Captain Hammer. But Captain Hammer just seems too genuinely dumb and self-centered .

Is it midnight yet?

One of the things that I find so likeable about Dr. Horrible is that he really hasn’t been evil. Despite wanting to get into the evil league of evil, he is offended at the thought of hurting kids or smothering grandmothers. “Do I even know you?” It’s only when Capt. Hammer shows his smarmy side, disrespecting Penny, that Billy decides to show us violence. And even then its a '60's Godzilla representation. Before then Billy/Dr. Horrible is mostly just resentment and plans. I can't help pulling for a "villain" that cares for people more than the "hero".

Is it midnight yet?!

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

I looked it up on imdb (which says it's a TV show. I was expecting there to be a new category for internet media) and there is a "more" under the cast listing which I did not click on in case we do get to meet Bad Horse.
