Wash: Well, I wash my hands of it. It's a hopeless case. I'll read a nice poem at the funeral. Something with imagery. Zoe: You could lock the door and keep the power-hungry maniac at bay. Wash: Oh, no, I'm starting to like this poetry idea now. Here lies my beloved Zoe, my autumn flower, somewhat less attractive now she's all corpsified and gross...

Buffy and Angel 1: BUFFYNANGLE4EVA!!!!!1!

Is it better the second time around? Or the third? Or tenth? This is the place to come when you have a burning desire to talk about an old episode that was just re-run.

"This bar smells like kerosene and stripper tears."

In fact, that demon and the Gentlemen are the only demons that ever bothered me.

What about the Gnarl thingie that skinned Willow alive?!?

Shit's all sorts of different now.

I'm going to say this without any worry that it might make me look like a big freak.

I love the Gnarl demon. He is my favorite of all the demons, and if they made a plush toy of him, I'd own it and sleep with it.

I think the stunning, and actually having to be awake and feeling it peel the skin freaked me right the hell out. Like those people who wake up during surgery.

Drusilla, the Gentlemen, and Monkey'sPaw!Joyce were the show's only villains that really creeped me out.

ETA: I forgot Anya in "Afterlife".

Dru never creeped me out; I found her wacky and endearing. I felt the same way about the Gentlemen. But Monkey'sPaw!Joyce unnerved me.

Was "Afterlife" the one where she was kinda-sorta possessed and had the knife? Because if so, yeah. That scared the bejesus out of me.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

Ooooh yeah, that was some scary shit there.

Yeah, where she was all white-eyed and laughing and floating forward while she cut her face with the knife. Brrr.

Drusilla didn't normally scare me, but she had her moments at the start of "Lie to Me" and "Surprise" and at the end of "What's My Line." I think Juliet was better than anyone at portraying a vampire as an inhuman predator (David and Mark Metcalf being close, though).
