Buffy and Angel 1: BUFFYNANGLE4EVA!!!!!1!

Is it better the second time around? Or the third? Or tenth? This is the place to come when you have a burning desire to talk about an old episode that was just re-run.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Where are we timewise?

"...and then Legolas and the Hulk destroy the entire Greek army." - Penny Arcade

There's probably a good analysis about the path from this Buffy to "Becoming" to "The Gift", but...I don't feel up to it here.

(Actually I'm a little surprised it's affecting me this much....I don't remember that from the first time I watched it.)

Art Crawl!!!

I'm at the point at which Buffy has gone off on her own and Giles and Xander and Willow and Jenny Calendar are in the library trying to plan.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

"Calm may work for Locutus of the Borg here, but I'm freaked out and I intend to stay that way."

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

"You're looking at my neck!"
"I was not!"

The slash just writes itself.

Is there a concept for that in fandom? Some notion of the writers consciously and purposefully seeding for slash? As opposed to inadvertent slash, I guess.
