Exactly, Suzi!
And yeah, sumi, I was just thinking, How come Giles doesn't know anything about the legendary Angelus?
Heh. "Of course, sometimes a little is enough."
'Jaynestown'
Is it better the second time around? Or the third? Or tenth? This is the place to come when you have a burning desire to talk about an old episode that was just re-run.

Aw, she's brings him dinner in a plastic bag. Foreshadowing!
Particularly given that Angelus is part of the Master's family -- wouldn't he have been researching the whole clan.
Whoa!
Guess the cat's out of the bag now.
This whole offer your lives thing seems very inefficient.
Buffy is a lot girlier in this scene then we see her since much.
Just a shadow - my ass. Darn, I forgot how blind Joyce was.
I guess I totally retcon Angel's unexpected gameface as Buffy eventually bringing out the Angelus in him.
Darla's comment about living aboveground is fairly hypocritical, given what we found out later. Aside from this, it's fairly consistent with what we see in Angel Season 2.
Also, remember that Angel never associated with the Order itself; he only met the Master once, and Darla was separated from the Order during the time she was with him.
Joyce was really pretty. Also, feature-wise, she totally looks like Buffy.

Oh, Darla. Like anyone would be studying the Revolutionary War and the Civil War at the same time.
I meant more the Darla that was playing at being a school girl. I guess, that was only because the Hellmouth is under the high school. . . but I thought it might have something to do with her being different when she is working directly for the Master than she is when she is on her own.
Urk. With the "Mom! Mom!" and the phone call, this is creepy fore(post?)shadowing.
