Interesting with the martinis, given what we know later about his family....
Huh. Did she just un-shapeshift or did the Mickey cancel out the illusion? Doesn't really matter, but.....
'Never Leave Me'
Is it better the second time around? Or the third? Or tenth? This is the place to come when you have a burning desire to talk about an old episode that was just re-run.

I couldn't tell -- it's so dark.
I know -- remember in season three when she has to find teachers who will vouch for her? Precious few even remember her.

really , that was horrid. as a teen youspend all this tiem thinking the world is looking at you, but then to find out they are not....And yet some do. So why? and what could they see that almost no one else sees. Ouch.
This episode has a lot of good elements -- but it's just not one of my favorites. Not sure why.
Ah, bondage on Buffy. Where would we be without it. Also an early example of Buffy-in -charge-but-needing-her-team-to-win.
Clearly the eggs and Catherine Madison wind up in the same corner of Limbo.
Aaaaand that's it for Disc 1!
Poor principle Flutie. I missed a W&P again. And obvious Devid could not be here with us for this one. I really do intend on joining in one of these times. It will be easier when we get to S3, and I can watch on DVD. Actually, I think I can watch from my computer and post.
Either way, I'm enjoying the hell out of this rewatch&post thing.
Oh, yeah. I pop in during the commercials on Nip/Tuck. It's fun watching all the color commentary. People talk about all kinds of stuff I never noticed and now I can pay special attention when I do go to watch the episode.
Missed the W&P due to an actual social engagement. But I love reading the conversations those times when I am not an active participate in real time.
I'm excited. One of my friends and I have been talking about making some time to spend together. She has a husband and a son health issues, so the usual drink or dinner out is hard for her. We made some time last night, I brought pizza over and we hung out. Then she said "you know, i've never seen buffy. what say you bring the DVDs over and we watch them?" SO EXCITED. A new buffista.
Toaster!
And a great way to spend buddy time together.
I did that with a friend when ROME was on HBO. Gotta say those where some excellent Sunday evenings. All 12 of them.
Congrats on the Fanufacture.
