You're nice, and you're funny and you don't smoke, and okay, werewolf, but that's not all the time. I mean, three days out of the month, I'm not much fun to be around, either.

Willow ,'Get It Done'

Buffy and Angel 1: BUFFYNANGLE4EVA!!!!!1!

Is it better the second time around? Or the third? Or tenth? This is the place to come when you have a burning desire to talk about an old episode that was just re-run.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

I think Cordy's demonization was when Jasmine began to get its hooks into her (with a free-willed choice on her part to become a demon hybrid thanks to Skip's It's a Wonderful Life mindgames), but she was still essentially in the driver's seat with gradually increasing outside influence until the end of "Tomorrow." What came back in early Season 4 was Jasmine wearing a Cordy suit.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

I thought Jasmine didn't fully have her hooks in Cordy until Lorne tried to get her memory back for her (don't remember the name of the episode)?

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

He was trying to get to Angel, period. That's what he used the sluks to do.

Aha, thanks. My DVDs are packed in boxes.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

And apropos-ishly, an interesting LJ post about Cordelia and characterization problems in season 3.

Embrace the idea that we are the leaders we've been looking for. Grace Lee Boggs

I'm on S4 now. It turns out I'm more confused rather than less. Still, I liked my silly dream better because it let me handwave St. Cordy, and that means a lot.

Also, that's a nice article Dana. Thanks for sharing.

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

Anyone ever wonder why Joyce kept her married name?

What is even happening?

I know lots of people who do. I don't think it was ever mentioned in canon, but I would say Joyce wanted to keep the same name as her child(ren).

I do believe in killing the messenger, you know why? Because it sends a message. ~ Damon Salvatore

exactly what i was going to say, Cindy. that's why my sister did it. in fact, she gave her daughter her ex's name even though she isn't his because she wanted them all to have the same last name.

It was just one of those going-to-sleep thoughts; it seems like the divorce wasn't so wonderful, and most women I know who divorce nowadays take their name back, if they gave it up at all.

None of my divorced friends have kids, though.
