Yeah, I see it used as a term for Buffy fans in general from time to time. I know it was at TeeVee.org recently. And Google turns up "Buffista" on Usenet back in 1998.

I knew the term "Buffistas" long before I knew about The Buffistas. In fact, there were no "Buffistas" when the term was first applied to the TT Buffy thread at Salon, right?
