Atherton: Half the men in this room wish you were on their arm, tonight. Inara: Only half. I must be losing my indefinable allure.

'Shindig'

Buffy and Angel 1: BUFFYNANGLE4EVA!!!!!1!

Is it better the second time around? Or the third? Or tenth? This is the place to come when you have a burning desire to talk about an old episode that was just re-run.

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

I'd like to reserve a pee, for 11 pm this evening. Party of one.

Thank goodness it's just one. I'd hate to think you were some sort of freak.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

I close the bathroom door when I'm home alone. Never thought of it as strange before.

I look more rad than Lutheranism

I have a hard time remembering to shut the door if I'm using the bathroom when people come over.

brillig

Ours is not a pee-shy household. When we had the litter box in the bathroom, Hubby and his cat would go in there for male creature quality time.

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

I close the bathroom door when I'm home alone. Never thought of it as strange before.

I'm not judging. It's just different than what I do, and in a household of 2, the differences are clearer cut.

Not judging.

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

I, like Steph, have trouble remembering to close the door ever. Me, I even sometimes have trouble in other people's houses.

Of course, I have lived alone for a very long time (although having the cat sit on my lap whilst on the toilet is sort of weird!)

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

In my last apartment it was a while before I even noticed my setup made it hard for the door to close properly.

It's the alone in my home thing.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

It's the alone in my home thing.

Yeah, you get so used to certain things. Like taking your shirt off when it's too warm - I've caught myself having the urge to do that in places that are not my own home. Fortunately I've never been so distracted as to not catch it in time.

Compassionately intolerant

I, like Steph, have trouble remembering to close the door ever. Me, I even sometimes have trouble in other people's houses.

This is me.

I find myself having to stop unzipping as I'm walking across the room toward the bathroom. I even did it in an office once...thank god, in the basement, far, far from anyone who might have seen. I mortified myself.

Years of living alone with my dog hermitude may not bode well for the new relationship.

How soon before you ask the big pee habit questions?

I did this too!
