'Objects In Space'

Buffy and Angel 1: BUFFYNANGLE4EVA!!!!!1!

Is it better the second time around? Or the third? Or tenth? This is the place to come when you have a burning desire to talk about an old episode that was just re-run.

Woe to the fucking wicked.

See, the Spike thing, to me, was after the "Who is this and what have they done with Giles"-ness. I just don't get the line that got him to there (as opposed to, say, Willow, who had an arc that made sense in where she ended up)

Connor, however, would have been just fine had he been given soup and a hug instead of something real. Damn it.

Which is sort of born out by my very much liking Normal!Well-Adjusted!Connor, as one imagines N!W-A!Connor got plenty of soup and hugs growing up.

Psh. Souled Champion Vampires grow on trees. Can always get another one in a pinch.

BWAHAHAHA!

I was really starting to buy into the the "It's actually Ethan" line after just a couple of episodes with Pod!Giles.

And yet...it was consistant with his characterization in "Helpless." Also the same Giles that killed Ben. Same Watcher training that had Wesley sending peons to their death in Pylea.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

I'm racking my brains, and I have no idea what "the Spike thing" was. Someone refresh me? What season are we talking about?

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

Decoying Buffy while in colusion with Principal Wood for the latter to set a trap for Spike?

The one Abi and I are talking about is actually about Giles' colluding with Principal McHottie to kill Spike.

Oh right...there's so much of S7 I don't remember. Probably for the best.

Hec, that isn't the defining incident of my PodGiles characterization. It's just that it happens after it, and so, doesn't really fall under the same rules, to me.

Calli: My people have a saying. A man who trusts can never be betrayed, only mistaken.Avon: Life expectancy among your people must be extremely short.

My blindspot is conventional - Willow up to the whole friggin addiction anvil. Killing bambi, bringing back buffy from the dead without even friggin digging her out of her coffin first - if Willow does it is is just loveable bumbling. Also had a bit of a Fred shaped blind spot too.

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

I'm a Willow-hater. Does this make me a bad person?
