Cuz... she's not... getting sexy roles? Didn't she play the sexpot in Scooby Doo? Didn't she play the incredibly scarily seductive also sexpot in Cruel Intentions? Didn't she play the seemingly vulnerable but really strong sexpot in The Grudge?

I'm fairly certain somebody mentioned the two Scooby-Doos, so that question kind of answers itself, AFAIC.
Well, I'm guessing that for the two Scooby-Doo movies she had to limit herself to movies where she could work around her Buffy shooting schedule.
I'd hope that now that she has a more open schedule she can choose scripts based solely on their merit.
Scooby-Doo was more about working with FPJ than the actual film, I think.
