Take jobs as they come -- and we'll never be under the heel of nobody ever again. No matter how long the arm of the Alliance might get, we'll just get ourselves a little further.

Buffy and Angel 1: BUFFYNANGLE4EVA!!!!!1!

Is it better the second time around? Or the third? Or tenth? This is the place to come when you have a burning desire to talk about an old episode that was just re-run.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

I mean, doesn't she read the scripts?

I'm fairly certain somebody mentioned the two Scooby-Doos, so that question kind of answers itself, AFAIC.

Art Crawl!!!

Well, I'm guessing that for the two Scooby-Doo movies she had to limit herself to movies where she could work around her Buffy shooting schedule.

I'd hope that now that she has a more open schedule she can choose scripts based solely on their merit.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Scooby-Doo was more about working with FPJ than the actual film, I think.

Trust my rage

I thought I remembered JM commenting that he was always naked on set but that it was in SMG's contract that she could stay fully clothed. Interesting change, I guess.

move out and draw fire

I thought I remembered JM commenting that he was always naked on set

Always? Why didn't I get this version of the show?

The generation that could change the world is still looking for its car keys.

I think it's a BS report. No attribution at all.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

Didn't she play the seemingly vulnerable but really strong sexpot in The Grudge?

The character she played there wasn't really played as sexy, beyond the fact that it was a pretty actress in the role. She had about 3 minutes of scenes displaying normal affection for the boyfriend character, and other than that she was giving sponge baths to the elderly, worriedly talking to detectives, and fleeing from ghosts through a spooky-ass suburban house.

Hey. New board.

And the scene that scared the shit out of everybody in the trailer was, conveniently, set in the shower. In which she was naked. And steamy.

I don't necessarily mean that SMG has played exclusively nymphos or anything, but the girl's sexuality has been a rather major contributer to her getting the roles she has gotten thus far. Going topless won't make any difference at all in her career - it's not like she needs to do something scandalous to break away from Disney or whatever.

'Course, since I agree that article is probably poppycock, this discussion is kinda silly anyway.

I have no problem with SMG doing a topless role, btw. But if she's actually seeking one out, specifically, rather than deciding on her roles by, I dunno, reading the script and seeing whether her part is good, then that's just silly.

She can always go the CC route and do playboy.
