I want to collect Michelle Trachtenberg's statements (and related ones) in one place.
Some time after Charisma Carpenter published her account on Instagram [link] and Twitter [link] Sarah Michelle Gellar made a general Instagram statement of support for abuse survivors, affirmed her pride in Buffy Summers, and disavowed Joss Whedon. [link]
Michelle Trachtenberg, replied to SMG on Instagram. SMG's Instagram post shows no replies, but the reply is accessible from MT's Instagram: [link]
Here is the text of MT's above-linked Instagram post. While not explicit, it implies something more sinister about JW than that he's a misogynist who likes to humiliate his cast and other subordinates, and fired CC in retaliation for her pregnancy -- after she gave birth.

As you'll note in that screenshot, when MT's reply to SMG still ended with, "very. Not. Appropriate." — an Instagram user named "yaronbeery" replied [link]
As I am a huge fan of the show, and yours, and Sarah, and all the gang I am really shocked and saddened to hear that yhis [sic] was going on behind the scenes of my favorite show. I hope that you are o.k. and that you weren't subjected to this abuse.

Hi, @michelletrachtenberg - You probably don't remember me. Lead singer of the band Velvet Chain... We were on the show b4 your time, but then played a bunch of BtVS wrap parties and stuff... And I seem to remember having an impromptu food court lunch with you when I ran into you at the Sherman Oaks mall... ANYWAY, my point is that I am SO SORRY to read this. I had a bad feeling when I saw how he was acting with Eliza at one of our shows (while he was still married to Kai, and she was still technically a teenager), so this has the ring of truth, at least to me. NOTE: The Erika Amato Instagram account [link] I've quoted is not verified. She does not link to an Instagram account on her website [link] . That said -- looking at all the content on her main Instagram page, I am satisfied this is Erika Amato's account (e.g. [link] ). In addition, for the Bronzers among us, I'll note that Cosmic Bob [link] replied to another Instagram post of Amato's at some point. Erika was active on the Bronze and Bronze Beta websites and likely knows Cosmic Bob from the PBPs (official Posting Board Parties), at which he sometimes helped wrangle the VIPs.
