Marsters did talk about Joss raging at him over Spike's popularity a few years ago. But he's also been one of Joss' defenders in the past, so maybe he thought it better to just remain silent.

Ugh. It's seriously bumming me out that all this ugliness was happening and we never knew. Agree with Sophia that I hope the male actors speak out in support.
I don't think I'll have a problem rewatching the shows - it's a collaborative work and Joss was only a part of it. The commentary tracks he did were my favorites though - I don't know if I'll be able to listen to them again.
Have Amy Acker or Eliza Dushku made a statement? I know they kept working with Joss and Mutant Enemy after Buffy/Angel ended.
