The new series from Boom restarts the story from the beginning, but it's remixed/updated, and the art is a HUGE improvement over the old Dark Horse comics. And it's only up to issue #4 (plus Angel and Giles in their own titles) so there's not much catching up to do.

Oh wow, I didn't know about the Boom Angel and Giles series. Gotta pick those up. I have the first four Buffy comics but I haven't read them yet.
