I'd imagine Marsters is already buying bleach for his hair.

Buffy and Angel 1: BUFFYNANGLE4EVA!!!!!1!
Is it better the second time around? Or the third? Or tenth? This is the place to come when you have a burning desire to talk about an old episode that was just re-run.
After the various revelations, would any of the female cast want to work with Whedon? Or any of them?
Yeah, I am extremely ambivalent. I don't know that I could support a Whedon vehicle in the future. Maybe if Tim were running it.
I sorta figured the female cast already knew.
I mean, they're the young actresses Joss had working for him longest and most prominently.
I didn't mean it was the first time they knew, but now that it's out in the open, they don't have to deal with the expectation that they'd be delighted to work with Whedon again.
Based on comments Joss made back during the Buffy run, I never had the expectation SMG would be delighted to work with him again. Though I am much more sympathetic to her side of things these days.
No. There are brilliant writers that can and will create new shows to love.
If they mean re-exploring the Sunnyvale that Buffy, the Scoobys, et al. lived in -- no. That's been done and could not be recreated.
But a sequel of sorts could work. A decent set of writers could come up with three or four seasons' worth of ideas for an anthology series exploring how the world changed once all the Potentials received full Slayer abilities, probably without even breathing hard.
Bonus -- the original cast could be involved as much or as little as possible. I for one would like to see some of the characters pop up a couple of times, just so we could see where they are today. Example -- we know (from Angel) that Buffy took time out to do some partying. What happened once she got that out of her system? Or did she? Is she a Mother Of Slayers figure? Or lost to history?
(I confess -- I'd really enjoy seeing what happened to Xander. Maybe the Glorified Carpenter left the vampire-hunting game to became a contractor with a wife, 2.3 kids, and a lot of memories. Or maybe he became a mentor figure to some newly converted Slayers. Or maybe he couldn't handle the new world and lives in an alcohol-fueled haze -- no, I don't see Xander drifting like that.)
Good grief -- I just realized that Buffy and the original Scoobys (the characters, not the actors) will be pushing 40 soon.

Since the comics are already covering this, I'd rather see a Buffy The New Class jump ahead 20+ years and start with all new characters. With Not Joss at the helm.
