I liked Riley then- that he is a little peculiar I can't get enough of Spike defanged, but I hate soldier Riley. Not sure a way around that conundrum. Still not the biggest Angel fan

Act 1

Horribly bad suit on Professor Gerhardt, but I think good choice. Why does Buffy wear a cowboy hat? Weird we never see Willow's mother. Does Joyce become a better mom because of Dawn? I love Anya! Imaginary Xander is quite the machine! Xander falling through the hole and getting up is some good comic acting Angel lurking outside is some not so good acting "From beneath you it devours"- Willow says we wonder I love Thanksgiving Buffy! Reminds me of Full Copper Re-pipe Buffy, which is my favorite Buffy. Very relatable to me. The sad music and Spike with a blanket is the funniest thing ever!

Act 2

• Ears- foreshadowing Willow's magic problem
• Also Willow off her game- for something Blue
• Buffy is a good detective
• I love the filming of Buffy and Giles in the kitchen as well as the interplay between Thanksgiving/normalcy and the Slaying/mystery
• I think the lurking is a dick move from Angel.
• The cut from Angel saying to be on the outside looking in and what he can't have to starving Spike looking in at the vampires eating people is hysterical to me.
• Why is the coffe shop mostly outside? IS that a California thing
• Love that Willow is a jerk about both Cordelia and Anya. She is sort of like a "nice guy" in female form.She has some entitlement issues
• Still like normal Riley
• Also great cut with "home is the place where they have to take you in" to Spike and Harmony.
• Love self actualized Harmony- also comedy gold!
• The chip is a real demonstration of how obstacles are a character's problem but an actor's friend
• I realize I sort of don't like fight scenes and tune out

• Again, the Giles kitchen lighting and framing are amazing
