It's simple. I slap 'em around a bit, torture 'em, make their lives hell...Sure, the nice guys'll run away, but every now and then you'll find a prince like Spike who gets off on it.

Buffy ,'Get It Done'

Buffy and Angel 1: BUFFYNANGLE4EVA!!!!!1!

Is it better the second time around? Or the third? Or tenth? This is the place to come when you have a burning desire to talk about an old episode that was just re-run.

Unusually and exceedingly peculiar and altogether quite impossible to describe

ACTUAL CAR CRASH.

Man, I totally forgot the actual car crash.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

I think Trudy initiated the Trademark on Actual Car Crashâ„¢.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

I never got the whole stealing sage thing. I'm pretty sure it grows natively in S. CA. Just go to an abandoned lot with a pair of clippers.

ETA: Which is the least of the arc's problems, I know. But as a would-be gardener, it bugs.

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

I never got the whole stealing sage thing. I'm pretty sure it grows natively in S. CA. Just go to an abandoned lot with a pair of clippers.

The arc would have been markedly improved if you'd been there to give them your sage advice.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Best thing about binge-watching the whole series? Not having to wait 6 years for XANDER LIES to come back around.

(Also, S6 improves dramatically on binge-rewatch. There are still individual terrible eps - OH HAI Wrecked - but the emotional highs and lows make a lot more sense consumed all at once.)

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

I always think of that "Where's the coriander, bitch?!?" quote from some review or recap in connection with Amy and Season 6.

Occasionally I’m callous and strange

If vampires don't have heartbeats, then how do they get erections?

Woe to the fucking wicked.

...magic?

"...and then Legolas and the Hulk destroy the entire Greek army." - Penny Arcade

Matt-

Pretty sure that was MBTV/TWOP. Ace and Sep were pretty good when they were snarking on actual problems with the episodes, catastrophically less so when they tried to make it a statement about the show as a whole.
