'Sleeper'

Boxed Set, Vol. II: "It's a Cookbook...A Cookbook!!"

A topic for the discussion of Farscape, Smallville, and Due South. Beware possible invasions of Stargate, Highlander, or pretty much any other "genre" show that captures our fancy. Expect Adult Content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.

Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.

This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

If I want to become a cloud of bats, does each bat need a separate vaccination?

So he and Tess weren't outside Peter Coyote's office at the end? That was just a badly edited coincidence?

Not that it matters, of course, since next week Everything Will Change.

I want to like it, but it's being very frustrating this season.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

I still like it.

I mostly like it, but the whole Isabelle thing has become very irritating, and I miss the focus on the various 4400s and their abilities.

Kiss me, my girl, before I'm sick.

I concur with tiggy and ita. I've just binged on S3 and I've liked it, mostly, although Isabelle should DIE already OMG she's so fucking annoying. She's making Shawn and Richard boring and irritating by the virtue of proximity, and I used to like these two. Well, Richard more than Shawn.

I really dug the Kevin & Tess show in the last episode, which may have to do with the enormous amount of residual goodwill I have toward Summer Glau and Jeffrey Coombs. They're sad and wrong and clearly doomed, so of course I totally ship them.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I think so, Jessica. At least, it never occurred to me.

Oh, I like the characters too. I just don't understand their narrative.

Kiss me, my girl, before I'm sick.

Btw, we don't need to white-font the show, right? Since it fits the Box Set criteria and the eps have already aired in NA?

I haven't encountered anyone who likes Isabelle yet.

And...man, whitefont is catching, eh? I didn't really realise we were in Boxed Set.

Hee, yeah. Once you start, you can't stop!

Isabelle had the potential to be interesting and then...no. Her irritatingness outweighs her prettiness. There's always Diana and Heather for the pretty, anyway. And Alana if she comes back.

Right, sorry -- force of habit.

Yeah, I was WFing by habit, then realized, hey! Box set!

I continue to adore Maia, but I will be miffed if the whole Maia-goes-missing plot turns out to be just reset to zero and has no lasting consequences on future plot.

I remain (perhaps naively) hopeful that Ira Behr and Rene E-whassis have some kind of story arc/show bible laid out, since they gave us that beautiful Dominion War arc over at DS9.
