Well, other bands know more than three chords. Your professional bands can play up to six, sometimes seven, completely different chords.

We have been too. Loved the William Hurt one, my son got a huge kick out of the end (I remember reading that one). I liked the William Macy one too, he did a good job with the "noir" dialog. The Tom Beringer one scared the crap outta both kids so I was sorta glad that the Last Quarter was so-so. I know that I've probably read them all, but trying to dredge them up from my memory is tough. I think that King is hard to translate to the screen sometimes because it's all in how you read it and see it in your mind, more than anything.

Quick! I spent the day arguing with a neo-con and listening to how great my friend's weekend with her BF was! Someone point me at some SG-1 and/or SGA crackfic!

Go go gadget hivemind!

Shalott posted an SGA story in which Rodney and John are Jedi knights. It's funny as hell. Her lj name is astolat.

Art Crawl!!!

That sounds like it would be extremely funny.

Watching Life on Mars last night, I thought that it would make a good pair musically with Supernatural.

Consuela, I just read that story the other day. I've only just started watching SGA, though I don't know why I was waiting. Sheppard = mmmguh.

If I want to become a cloud of bats, does each bat need a separate vaccination?

I'd been mentally adding "And they have a plan" to the 4400's new pre-show montage thingy, but after last night's ep, I think I'ma have to stop, because I don't think they do.

Does someone want to tell me what the frell happened with Kevin? Was he faking being sick, or did Isabelle's promeicin make him better? And why exactly should I care? Is any of this going anywhere? Did everyone else already give up on this show weeks ago?

That man was going to shank me. Over an omelette. Two eggs and a slice of government cheese. Is that what my life is worth?

I gave up on it, Jessica. It just doesn't hold my, admittedly ADD-like, attention.

I do believe in killing the messenger, you know why? Because it sends a message. ~ Damon Salvatore

Jessica, the 4400 i don't think the promeicin Kevin has is Isabelle's. it's some that he produced chemically.

my take on it was not that he was faking it, but that he really is developing 4400-like powers and he was able to shed his skin and look normal again.

it's going somewhere, but i'm not sure we're going to care by the time it gets there or if it's going to be very satisfying.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Kevin was sick from the promycin, but it was a process--it ran all the way through and he sloughed off the big skin he'd developed. I don't think it had anything to do with Isabelle and the promycin she's been giving to Webb.

I still like it.

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

I'm trying to hang in with 4400 but, truth be told, if it wasn't for my Season pass catching it, I probably wouldn't bother.
