A topic for the discussion of Farscape, Smallville, and Due South. Beware possible invasions of Stargate, Highlander, or pretty much any other "genre" show that captures our fancy. Expect Adult Content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

Man, I'm sorry I missed that! We had to leave early to catch the last trolley back to our hotel. Curses!
(I can't think of when else it would have been, unless they all got together for lunch or something. There wasn't a Eureka panel, and it definitely didn't happen at the SG or Galactica one. Maybe after the SciFi Friday screenings?)
Maybe after the SciFi Friday screenings?
Could be. He also talked about that, and how 3000 people showed up to a room that held 1000, and were actually interested in the Eureka pilot, not just the SG episodes.
That's great - both the birthday singing and the 2000 extra people.
Yeah, SciFi was kicking themselves for not having planned a Eureka panel once they saw the ratings. (Lucky for Colin, they had booked extra hotel rooms, so he didn't have to stay out in La Hoya like the 4400 cast did.)
Dude, when (and where) do last night's ratings come out? I know they're supposed to come out at noon, but I don't know what timezone.
I thought that they were already out. I saw them somewhere.
(Nevermind - I saw a post in TWOP with a link to yesterday's USA Today.)
La Hoya
La Jolla, which is a very very nice area (though it's not close to the Convention Center).
La Jolla
I am such an idiot. I'd been hearing the name spoken all weekend, and never connected the two. (But yeah, my main point was the 2-hour commute -- even in the back of a limo, that traffic had to be pretty brutal.)
Was it 2 hours due to traffic? It's not that far up the 5 from downtown. It should take about 15 minutes or so to get from La Jolla to downtown SD. Sorry if I'm being annoying - having lived in SD for a few years, I'm just curious.
Oh, don't worry about it. I only heard about it third-hand, but the traffic was BEYOND beyond insane that weekend -- same reason Kevin Smith showed up 6 hours late and missed his Q&A. (They did let him go on after Spidey 3, but I don't know if they announced it to anyone who wasn't already in Hall H at that point.)
