Art Crawl!!!

Eureka was so much fun!!!

Sadly conflicting with my Rock Star show. So, uh -- have to watch the late repeat. (Otherwise, I would have been HERE.)

When they went into that room with the multipletwirlywhatis? I thought, Rambaldi Heaven! All we need is a big red ball and a bunch of water.

Love the dogs.

I'm glad that they're promoing the heck out of this show as I want to see more of it.

Gah - the BSG promo!! Want. Season 3. NOW.

And - Dresden Files!!! Woohoo!

Haven't attempted to watch on my very. . . very. . . slow dial-up, but I hear that the promo is up on You Tube, in case you missed it or something.

(I can't believe that SciFi won't put it up on Pulse.)

That was cute. The actual story was clunky, but it is a pilot. And I'm not quite sure why Matt Frewer needed to have an accent. But yay for Mark Mothersbaugh!

I would like to know who got Nickelback all over my Galactica. Because, ew.

The "Made in Eureka" stuff is funny. But the last customer review here is the best.

You always do this. We get tipsy, and you take advantage of my love of the scientific method.

And I'm not quite sure why Matt Frewer needed to have an accent.

That threw me, too, but it was good to see him again. So many good geeky actors in the cast.

I was thinking that they need to do a Numb3rs crossover because it would be neat to see Greg Germann and Peter MacNicol as dueling astrophysicists.

Art Crawl!!!

Yes!!!

Is Greg Germann the nefarious lab guy? He looked so familiar and yet. . . where did I see him before?

(And clearly they should X-Over with Alias -- they've got MILLIONS of Rambaldi devices and somesort of espionage thing going on.)

Yup. He and MacNicol also used to run a law firm in Boston.

The only thing is that the promo makes it look like they are bringing in someone else to run the facility for future episodes, so I don't know if he'll still be around.

Mr. Scola’s wardrobe by Botany 500

Huh. It looks like I didn't like it as much as the rest of you.

I thought the comic timing was so far off to be non-existent. Maybe that was due to all the tachyons that were in the vicinity. Even the straight dialog was weird. It was if the actors were just reading their lines instead of playing off of each other.

I thought that Matt Frewer was being wasted. I was hoping he would be a scientist more like his "Doctor Doctor" character.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

I thought there was a lot of room for improvement, Tom, though I think I still liked it more than you seem to have. I want to see how things progress in the series and if things gel better than they did in the pilot.

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

And I'm not quite sure why Matt Frewer needed to have an accent.

I think that they were trying to do a Crocodile Hunter thing. It didn't work for me. Probably because I HATE HATE HATE the crocodile hunter. I was so excited when I saw his name in the credits, and so disappointed in the character.

The only thing is that the promo makes it look like they are bringing in someone else to run the facility for future episodes, so I don't know if he'll still be around.

trying to raise the sexual tension between colin and sallie, I suspect.

So many good geeky actors in the cast.

Oh, YES. I love Tony

I gotta say that I'm not crazy about the random subplot of Something Evil in Eureka.

Strega - Jul 19, 2006 5:53:53 am PDT #9416 of 10001

Oh, no; I think a lot of the comedy was telegraphed and overplayed. And occasionally pony express-ed. But like I said, all the clunkiness seemed like pilot clunkiness. The stuff that happens when you're trying to sell something to a network and an audience simultaneously.
