I didn't see the Christmas Invasion on my S1 discs. But they did have the Dr. Who confidential for it.

Boxed Set, Vol. II: "It's a Cookbook...A Cookbook!!"
A topic for the discussion of Farscape, Smallville, and Due South. Beware possible invasions of Stargate, Highlander, or pretty much any other "genre" show that captures our fancy. Expect Adult Content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.
Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.
Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.
This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.
Hmm, I'm wondering if that's what I read about and misunderstood. Oh well - hopefully it will be in the season 2 set (that is, if they don't just release it as individual episode discs).
I finally saw Part 1 of The Empty Child. Cree-pee.

So Darkplace is a joke show? got it.
Yes, I am gullible.
The Boston Globe has a less than glowing review of Eureka, although they say nice things about Colin. Short version: too cutely quirky; not dark enough. Ehh. We'll see if it stays that way.
I have the EW that has an apparently good review of the show. I do have to say it's not dark, but I'll have to read the Globe to find out why it needs to be.

They do, but it's little more than a capsule review. Still, the Globe critic sounded willfully curmudgeon-ish. I'm still looking forward to checking it out.
I like Matthew Gilbert a lot. His daily capsule reviews always make me laugh and I agree with him way more often than I disagree. Let's hope he's either off the mark this time, or else that the show grows.
