This girl at school? She told me that gelatin is made from ground-up cow's feet and that every time you eat Jell-O there's some cow out there limping around without any feet. But I told her that I'm sure the cow is dead before they cut its feet off, right?

The 4400: I'm already sick of the omnipotent, selfish and manipulative Isabelle. Can't they discover a 4400 who can turn her back into a toddler? Evil toddler was MUCH better.

Woe to the fucking wicked.

I'll settle for dead.

All is well that ends in pizza.

Darkplace is going to be on Sci-Fi!

Not sure if I like that they are keeping up the facade that it was a real show, or I should keep my eyerolls in check.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

I just watched the Heroes screener. It's good stuff. Epic and ambitious. I'm looking forward to it.

"Either it's murder, or this library has a very strict overdue policy."

Darkplace. Watched it yesterday. Wonderful stuff. Laughed my eyeballs out.

Re: Heroes. Yeah, it looked very promising even though the screener only contained the first half of the pilot. If I've understood things correctly.

Art Crawl!!!

Okay, is this NUTS?

According to TV Shows on Dvd the BBC is planning (starting in November) on selling each individual disk of the season 1 (Doctor Who) set on it's own for $19.98.

Oh, and at TWOP (where I found the news originally) there is speculation that these will be completely without commentaries or other extras.

Yeah, see considering I'm getting the whole season from Amazon for $64 (and day now!), I think I'm gonna give that a wide pass.

Also, can someone who's already got the season 1 discs confirm that they included the XMAS INVASION and I wasn't just hallucinating that.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

I didn't see the Christmas Invasion on my S1 discs. But they did have the Dr. Who confidential for it.

Hmm, I'm wondering if that's what I read about and misunderstood. Oh well - hopefully it will be in the season 2 set (that is, if they don't just release it as individual episode discs).
