A topic for the discussion of Farscape, Smallville, and Due South. Beware possible invasions of Stargate, Highlander, or pretty much any other "genre" show that captures our fancy. Expect Adult Content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.
Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.
Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.
This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.
I'd thought Teyla's experience in "The Gift" showed that all the Wraith were in some level of telepathic contact with each other at all times.
There's a cheesy werewolf movie on SciFi right now, and I have to applaud the woman calmly loading a shotgun and firing at the creature that just disemboweled her redneck hubby in front of her, rather than shrieking and running into the woods wearing high heels. I think she may be the little sister from "the Night the Lights Went out in Georgia" all grown up.
I want the Wraith and the Ori and the Go'ould to somehow meet
Now there's a *real* axis of evil.
I have GOT to see this.
You can watch half of the first episode on the Sci-Fi site. So freaking funny. "I'm not Jesus Christ. I've come to accept that now."
Jamie Bamber is on the cover of this month's
Out
magazine. [link] The headline is interesting ("Jamie Bamber and the Queering of Sci-Fi"). I don't get it. Guess I'll have to read the article.
I'm also very excited about
Dead Like Me
-- I only got to watch it on DVD, and although I recommend it, it's tough to get people to try watching when they have to rent a set. This will bring a whole lot more fannish interest.
Ooh! I met him the night before that photo shoot. (FWIW, neither he nor his wife were 100% clear on exactly why he'd been asked to be on the cover of Out, what with the being straight both in real life and onscreen. The gay male contingent of the conversation offered the possible explanation "Because he's fucking gorgeous!" and we all agreed that that sounded like a very good reason indeed.)
I suppose it's also possible that there's a twist in S3 we weren't privileged to know about...

It's possible that my heart beat just a tad faster when I read that.

I'm not sure why they'd pick Bamber as the interview for that topic either, unless there's an assumption that no women watch Battlestar Galactica and they're featuring him in tank tops and towels for the benefit of male viewers. I'd have picked Chistopher Judge in heavy eyeshadow mode or David Hewlett & Paul McGillion kissing as the cover boys.

The 4400: I'm already sick of the omnipotent, selfish and manipulative Isabelle. Can't they discover a 4400 who can turn her back into a toddler? Evil toddler was MUCH better.
