Boxed Set, Vol. II: "It's a Cookbook...A Cookbook!!"

A topic for the discussion of Farscape, Smallville, and Due South. Beware possible invasions of Stargate, Highlander, or pretty much any other "genre" show that captures our fancy. Expect Adult Content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.

Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.

This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

You know, I want the Wraith and the Ori and the Go'ould to somehow meet or be aware of each other.

It seems so weird to see Ware back on Earth and seemingly completely unaware of what they are facing. I suppose that her security clearance wouldn't allow for that knowledge?

Oh, and Animal Planet is continuing the parasitical theme tomorrow night.

I know what I won't be watching tomorrow!

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

Weir namechecks the Ori, so it seems she's at least been briefed on the threat. But they've never staged any operations in the Pegasus galaxy. She's probably just heard about them secondhand while the Wraith are a very real threat to her.

"Fuck Western ideologically-motivated gender identification!" Sulu gasped, and came.

...haven't seen the majority of SGA Season 2, but I'm more-or-less aware of what happened in it. Just ahemed 3 01, though.

Weir still leaves me pretty 'eh, whatever'.

I liked the bit where, after listening to Rodney bitch about how they're all going to die, Ronon finally cracks, and tells him to shut up, and Rodney's all 'Make me!', and Ronon does the whole HULK SMASH! thing. (Only, okay, with a knife, but it was still sort of RAAAAAAAH!!!!)

Also, I liked the bit where Ronon was going to shoot Michael in the back. That was fun.

(...but I find that I still love NUMB3RS lots more than SGA. Hmm. I am a bad SciFi fan. No biscuit.)

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

We thought the "True Science" special (::pauses to snicker again at the name::) managed to make science boring... when it wasn't making it gross (which didn't go over well with much of the gathering, either).

Lurching from one disaster to the next.

Anyone know when Canada starts broadcasting SG-1 and Atlantis? As I understand it, they're screening them in HDTV, so Canadian ahems are the better quality.

Art Crawl!!!

I heard that Canada was getting it a month later. Mid-August instead of Mid-July. I heard this over at TWOP and don't know how true it is.

Huh. I've never heard of that. Sounds wacky.
