Mal: How come you didn't turn on me, Jayne? Jayne: Money wasn't good enough. Mal: What happens when it is? Jayne: Well... that'll be an interesting day.

If I only had a brain...

That's excellent news, Sumi. They'll probably pick up Torchwood, then.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

Maybe it's not too late for Russel T. Davies to have Captain Jack say something about how he enjoys watching wrestling for the prurient value...

For what it's worth, Series 2 of Doctor Who starts in October in Canada.

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Lucky Canadians.

In other news(I don't know if this should go here or in natter. Oh, well...), I was looking at new releases at Netflix and saw Slings and Arrows there. So I put it in my(far too big, considering how slowly I'm going through disks)queue.

If I want to become a cloud of bats, does each bat need a separate vaccination?

Watched the first two hours of SGA S3 last night (we are coming up on S3, right?) Pretty good. On average, I preferred it to SG-1 because it actually lets the characters be funny. (Which I understand is a recent SG-1 problem, but still. I know your galaxy's under attack by an emeny who outdoes you on every concievable level, but do they have to be so dour about it?) Details in Spoilers later today when I have time.

We're very stretchy. - Connie Neil

I just heard from Netflix--Disc One of BSG S1 is on its way, just in time for the holiday weekend! Considering I didn't get start watching until after I caught a Season 2 marathon of the first half of the season (broadcast right before the second half started), I've never seen any eps from S1 and am really excited to finally see "33".

GS: If you had to choose between kicking evil in the head or the behind, which would you choose, and why? Minsc: I'm not sure I understand the question. I have two feet, do I not? You do not take a small plate when the feast of evil welcomes seconds.

Grrr. My friend visiting from out of town rented the BSG mini-series and made me watch it after I told him I hadn't seen any of the new BSG.

I'm going to have to buy the Season 1 DVDs now.

Art Crawl!!!

Oh, and immediately after watching it you will need season 2.0.

I know. And then the Dr. Who Season 1 DVDs are coming out in the next week or so. My poor bank account.
