Boxed Set, Vol. II: "It's a Cookbook...A Cookbook!!"

A topic for the discussion of Farscape, Smallville, and Due South. Beware possible invasions of Stargate, Highlander, or pretty much any other "genre" show that captures our fancy. Expect Adult Content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.

Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.

This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

See, my reaction to the picture of Bamber is, "That looks so incredibly uncomfortable." Just looking at it makes my neck hurt.

I'm a lousy ogler.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

It looks to me like JB's just in the middle of doing crunches. And, considering his abs in various BSG episodes, he's probably gotten fairly comfortable with the process.

But yeah, I wouldn't want to hold that pose for any length of time.

In other, Doctor Who news, I'm planning on getting the DVDs. But I was wondering, does anyone know if the DVDs that go on sale in the US will have the three minutes per epidsode that were cut for the US SciFi broadcast?

Art Crawl!!!

I hope so. My feeling is that they will do the region 2 to region 1 thing without bothering to edit everything out.

And by feeling, I mean "Hope".

...on a pile of rocks, with one leg twisted sideways.

I suspect that just out of frame there's someone pouring fire ants over his bare feet.

That would explain the facial expression, I admit.

Obviously normal crunches are no longer challenging for him.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

The DVDs will be the UK broadcast versions. (I'm almost positive that the reversioning was done by SciFi, not the BBC, but even if it weren't, home video sales is a completely separate department.)

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

I rewatched the end of "Bad Wolf" the other night and cracked up over the daleks' reaction to being discovered by the Doctor. All the scene was missing was Kevin Bacon yelling "remain calm, all is well!"
