That's disturbing. You're emotionally scarred and will end up badly.

Lurching from one disaster to the next.

The mini-series of Casanova was also written by Russell T. Davies, just to make it even more of a Who-taster. The first two parts are a real blast, the third is much more downbeat, but it's certainly worth a look.

You got much the same thing from Second Coming. Starred Eccleston, written by Davies ... Doctor IX had shades of Jesus II

eta: swapped the characters around, since SC came before DW.

etaa: If you haven't seen Second Coming, then it's really superb. Perfect material to freak the fuck out of a fundie xian! :)

If like me you love Christopher Eccelston, try and get a hold of the best British drama series ever made "Our Friends in the North". He's superb in it and Daniel Craig stars in it too. Doctor Who and James Bond in the same show? Can't be beat.

Shallow Grave is a rollicking good time! It doesn't make me want to slit my wrists even a little bit.

Nope, it's a lot of fun, in a "let's toss a few scorpions in a bucket and see what happens" kind of way, and quite a different side of CE, to say the least. Also possibly the most obnoxious character Ewan's ever played.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

I had no idea who CE was when I first watched Shallow Grave, and now I must go back and rewatch and squee!

"Our Friends in the North"?

I'll see if I can find it.

I had another update from TVShowsonDVD. They've got a scan of the artwork for the 2.5 dvds that came out of the Season 2 Soundtrack cd.

You can see the scan here.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

I remember when first watching it that I thought "wow, that's some pretty daring nudity. Too bad it's not on the part of that cute Ewan guy." Oh, if only I'd known then...

Scifi.com has video of Jon Stewart presenting a Peabody Award to BSG.

You can access it here.

Aw, the Peabody acceptance was neat! And now, to be shallow... loved what Mary McDonnell and Katee Sackhoff were wearing. Grace Park's was nice, too, but I really liked the other two. Also, Mary McD is just gorgeuos.

Anyone know what was with the Southpark shout-outs?
