A topic for the discussion of Farscape, Smallville, and Due South. Beware possible invasions of Stargate, Highlander, or pretty much any other "genre" show that captures our fancy. Expect Adult Content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.

Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.

This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

Art Crawl!!!

Betsy, did you see Aliens of London AFTER The Empty Child?

Of course, the whole tone of The Empty Child is so tense and creepy where the Aliens of London is somehow less tense. The Aliens are dangerous but kind of funny too.

Woe to the fucking wicked.

Definitely true, sumi. This was waay darker and more tense.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

Yeah, after all those single episodes, I was completely "Hey, how are they going to wrap this up in five --- holy SHIT, they didn't!"

But they did.

And this is why we had all that whitefont not to spoil newbies that this was a two-parter.

There is considerable overlap between the intelligence of the smartest bears and the dumbest tourists.

Creeeeeepy. Captain Jack came off as kind of smarmy and sleazy and not as hot as I expected. I've heard he improves, though.

He does.

If I only had a brain...

I saw S1 in order. I think The Empty Child pins the creep meter; Aliens wasn't as creepy for me, it was standard sci-fi villainy.

Our wings are not tired.

I've been taking the episodes as served by SciFi, but it's going to be hard not to ahem this weekend. Since DH will be in Nebraska for his niece's graduation next Friday, I really wouldn't be a good wife if I didn't provide him the 2nd part. I know I can count on you to encourage me to do my wifely duty here.

I do believe in killing the messenger, you know why? Because it sends a message. ~ Damon Salvatore

honestly, i would ahem the episodes anyway because sci-fi is cutting things out of the eps. nothing drastic, but i hate anything being cut.

Woe to the fucking wicked.

Has there been any word on whether the DVD version will be the US or UK cut?

Our wings are not tired.

Oh I hate cuts. Still bitter about the FX butchery of Buffy.
