Art Crawl!!!

DebetEsse, you didn't like it?

Because I totally cried the first time I saw it and teared up again this time too.

BTW, Bad Wolf reference ?

Woe to the fucking wicked.

Sumi, I did. The way they did that last scene totally made up for the predictability. I didn't quite tear up, but I can see that one would. Oddly, The Doctor dying got me about as much as Rose's dad's speech (probably would have even more if I hadn't been yelling at Rose for taking the baby). Someone needs to fic the moment he came back into existence.

I also liked Nicky, Mickey, whatever his name is.

Oh! And! The TARDIS turning into a Police Box!

Also, at the crash site, graffiti on one of the smiley face posters. Is it strange that I know to look, but have no idea what it means?

eta: I have these vague thoughts that Susan (from the original series) could be Rose's daughter or granddaughter (with whatever paternity, I think The Doctor becoming "grandfather" is not out of the realm of reasonability), and the whole thing loops back on itself. But I think that's because, given the original canon, we've only got 2 more after the current UK Doctor (not that it's beyond their known capacity to change that), which would mean that it's got to be something like winding down (this also ties into the whole "Last of the Time Lords" thing). Mostly just an odd thought.

etaa: I thought it was odd that the timeline changed to include the change in Jackie's story. It makes my brain hurt, and may have helped spawn the above theory.

oh joy! Oh Rapture ! I have a brain!

I really liked last night's Dr. Who - despite preditctability - because it was reall well done.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

I really liked last night's Dr. Who - despite preditctability - because it was reall well done.

I did too. Father/daughter stories nearly ALWAYS make me cry, but this one was just really really well written.

Art Crawl!!!

I loved little toddler Mickey. I can't help but think that they cut his scene in the playground short. (I don't have my dvds right now or I'd check.)

GS: If you had to choose between kicking evil in the head or the behind, which would you choose, and why? Minsc: I'm not sure I understand the question. I have two feet, do I not? You do not take a small plate when the feast of evil welcomes seconds.

I loved last night's (Sci-Fi) episode. I mean, yeah, I figured out the car thing the instant it reappeared, and the pacing felt a little slow at points, but all in all it was well written. Lots of fun little moments, like The Doctor trying to convince baby!Rose to not destroy the world when she gets older.

Re tonight's new episode (Season 2 ep 3): Wow. Emotional resonance in spades. I got quite teary. Lovely, and beautifully played .

Woe to the fucking wicked.

Kalshane, I loved that moment, too.

For as low budget (by US standards) as they are, the design on the Reapers was really cool
