I really liked last night's Dr. Who - despite preditctability - because it was reall well done.
I did too. Father/daughter stories nearly ALWAYS make me cry, but this one was just really really well written.
'Heart Of Gold'
A topic for the discussion of Farscape, Smallville, and Due South. Beware possible invasions of Stargate, Highlander, or pretty much any other "genre" show that captures our fancy. Expect Adult Content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.
Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.

I loved little toddler Mickey. I can't help but think that they cut his scene in the playground short. (I don't have my dvds right now or I'd check.)
I loved last night's (Sci-Fi) episode. I mean, yeah, I figured out the car thing the instant it reappeared, and the pacing felt a little slow at points, but all in all it was well written. Lots of fun little moments, like The Doctor trying to convince baby!Rose to not destroy the world when she gets older.
Re tonight's new episode (Season 2 ep 3): Wow. Emotional resonance in spades. I got quite teary. Lovely, and beautifully played .
Kalshane, I loved that moment, too.
For as low budget (by US standards) as they are, the design on the Reapers was really cool
They were -- like dragony leeches or leechy dragons.
With scythe tails!
Season 2 ep 3: I'm half way through it, and I'm having a continuitygasm.
Hang onto your hat, Tom. It's going to be a bumpy ride. Hee.
Huh. "Continuitygasm" is a one-word Googlewhack. Did we make it up, or did TWOP?
