A topic for the discussion of Farscape, Smallville, and Due South. Beware possible invasions of Stargate, Highlander, or pretty much any other "genre" show that captures our fancy. Expect Adult Content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.
Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.
Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.
This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.
Not that she isn't lovely, but she's wearing a WonderBra.
NOT what I expect to read in a post following one about Dakota Fanning!! Brain bleach!!
I don't think the existance of either series is a spoiler, personally -- I think both were openly discussed before SciFi picked up Doctor Who.
Whedonesque had a link to an interview with
Elisabeth Sladen
that showed a clip that included
ASH.
Very interesting interview - and not too spoilery for the lightly spoiled although it shows 3 clips from the episode. (Which is today's episode.)
I guess I should say that by lightly spoiled, I mean people who have seen the whole of the 2005 Who series and have been lightly spoiled for some casting for the 2006 series.
Stephen Fry is going to be writing an episode for the third season. Color me chuffed.
(Which is today's episode.)
Tomorrow's, actually. Not that I'm counting or anything.
The Torchwood casting news is good too. I thought
Burn Gorman was excellent in Bleak House, so that bodes well.
Frankenbuddha:
new spin-off series for Doctor Who - it's an anagram. Coming in the autumn. To star Captain Jack, that Welsh girl Gwynneth who blew up in Episode 3 (not quite sure how they're going to work that one), and Guppy off Bleak House. They investigate strange phenomena! And possibly fight crime!
Fiona - re: Torchwood casting: Somehow,
I didn't think that the person who played Gwyneth was going to be playing Gwyneth again - perhaps I misunderstood?
sumi, you're probably right. Just conjecture on my part due to it being the same actress.
Still,
time rift and all that...
.
Ha! I didn't notice before that
it was an anagram. How clever!
