Frankenbuddha: new spin-off series for Doctor Who - it's an anagram. Coming in the autumn. To star Captain Jack, that Welsh girl Gwynneth who blew up in Episode 3 (not quite sure how they're going to work that one), and Guppy off Bleak House. They investigate strange phenomena! And possibly fight crime!
Boxed Set, Vol. II: "It's a Cookbook...A Cookbook!!"
A topic for the discussion of Farscape, Smallville, and Due South. Beware possible invasions of Stargate, Highlander, or pretty much any other "genre" show that captures our fancy. Expect Adult Content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.
Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.
Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.
This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.
Fiona - re: Torchwood casting: Somehow, I didn't think that the person who played Gwyneth was going to be playing Gwyneth again - perhaps I misunderstood?
sumi, you're probably right. Just conjecture on my part due to it being the same actress.
Still, time rift and all that... .
Ha! I didn't notice before that it was an anagram. How clever!
Oh, that reminds me, re the first (well, the first on Sci-Fi) season of Dr. Who, when does Captain Jack, who I keep hearing about, come into the show ?
Jess, apparently they labeled a Who tape reel with the acronym "Torchwood" so that nobody would steal it on the way to the post-processing house, then thought... 'Hmmm. What a cool name!'
Oh, and I am very pleased that they've cast the Asian doctor from "Aliens of London" on Torchwood, playing the same character.
Frank, episode 9, which is next week's.
Ooooh, now I want to know which post-house it was. And if I know them, and if they can be bribed to sneak me copies. (But not really because I'm a Good Employee Who Does Not Steal Things Even When It's Been The Kind Of Week Where I Feel I Deserve To.)
Law and Order:SVU is coming to Scifi?
Why?
Think how much fun it'd be to see Mansquito prosecuted....
